How to take care after microwave oven?

How to take care after microwave oven?

Today, no one is surprised by the capabilities of the microwave oven. The hostesses appreciated her merits. In the microwave, you can heat up food in a matter of seconds, defrost a piece of meat that has been petrified in the freezer in a few minutes, cook chicken legs with potatoes in half an hour, and "cook" vegetables for a vinaigrette in less than a quarter of an hour. Combined microwave ovens have even more advantages, which, in addition to the microwave, have grill and convection modes. In such ovens, you can bake pies, meringues or "fry" chicken, fish, and meat until golden brown. In convection mode, any cake will be ready in 20 minutes instead of 45 minutes in a conventional oven, and in grill mode, crispy sandwiches will ripen to the table in 4-5 minutes.

Since any product can be cooked in a microwave oven in its own juice, without fat and without adding water, it almost completely retains its color, aroma, vitamins and minerals, its natural salts are not digested. This means that you need to salt the finished dish to a minimum, or you can not salt it at all whoever likes what. The meat remains juicy, the fish is not boiled, sauces are obtained without lumps. Such cooking is the healthiest for those who prefer diet food and do not like deep fats.

Having entrusted the product to the microwave oven, the hostess can calmly do other things without fear that the food will burn. After the set time has elapsed, the oven will turn itself off and beep.

Having such equipment at home, everyone wants it to serve as long as possible. The tips below will be useful both to those who have already purchased a stove and to those who are just about to buy one. After all, in order to be familiar with any electrical device, you need to know about its whims and try to take them into account from the very first day.

What does the microwave doesn't like?

Choose the right place for the stove. Keep in mind that any sources of heat and steam are bad neighbors for her. And the oven itself, in turn, is a poor neighbor for the refrigerator. She should be at least 40 centimeters from him. Do not put your microwave on top of the refrigerator. This is especially true for combined models: working in convection or grill mode, they heat up more than conventional microwave ovens, which means they emit more heat.

It is best to place the oven on a kitchen cabinet that is slightly higher than the dining table. The minimum distance from the wall to the stove is 15 centimeters.

Try to observe the following safety precautions.

Never block the ventilation openings of the oven with any object.

Make sure that the power cord does not go under the oven or touch hot or sharp surfaces.

If the oven is plugged into a non-Euro socket, it is recommended to make a ground connection. Entrust this to a specialist.

Do not turn on an empty oven, otherwise the magnetron a device that generates ultra-high frequency electromagnetic waves will be damaged. To avoid idle switching, always keep a glass of water in the stove.

When cleaning, be careful not to touch the ventilation holes, as well as the cardboard that covers the magnetron.

Remove traces of dirt on the outside of the case with a slightly damp, soapy sponge, and then wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

Remove stains and dirt from the door with a damp cloth, remembering to wipe the door insulation as well.

Touchscreen and other control panels can only be wiped with a slightly damp cloth.

It is very easy to get rid of the smell in the oven: just boil a glass of water with a slice of lemon in it. By the way, after that, burnt specks of fat are easier to clean off.
